Acute Phase is part of the trilogy of products designed to help with injury recovery. For the first three days of an acute injury we recommend Metagenics Acute Phase. For the several weeks of the sub-acute phase we recommend Metagenics EC Matrixx. For the chronic phase you will want to switch to Kaprex. Each is very specifally formulated to aid in the biochemical needs of the body at each phase. Athletes would be wise to keep this on hand for use in case of any acute sprain or strain. Acute Phase has 9 separate packets. You will take three packets per day on one every eight hours. The key ingredients will not help reduce inflammation but also can help speed the healing process. These ingredients are particularly useful during those first three days so you will need to have this on hand to get maximum benefit. Consult your healthcare professional prior to use if pregnant or nursing. Do not use if have prior history or current peptic or duodenal ulcer. May cause drowsiness so don't operate heavy machinery. Take one packet every eight hours for three days, or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner.
