Ecological Formulas Free Radical Quenchers provides a broad spectrum of pure antioxidants that protect against free radical damage and oxidant stress. Contains all B vitamins that function as anti-oxidants. The different antioxidants serve varied functions. Alpha tocopherol (vitamin E) acts in cell membranes, while glutathione acts inside cells, particularly in the liver. Beta carotene acts in places of low oxygen tension, such as the capillaries of muscle tissue. Zinc specifically protects proteins, while lipoic acid acts in the brain.Suggested Use: Take one or two capsules per day or as directed by a physician.
