Is one of our most popular items. In times of stress (meaning just about every day for most Americans) the adrenal glands work extra hard to keep your body in harmony. Adaptocrine contains compounds (adaptogens) that help normalize adrenal function whether they are producing too much or too little. Adaptocrine has also been helpful in balancing blood sugar to help maintain your energy levels. Adaptocrine Product Sheet

Is this product safe while on thyroid hormone replacement? I know that ashwganda can stimulate thyroid.
It seems to work fine with people with thyroid issues. I would start with one twice a day and see how you feel.

My chiropractor recommended this product following my taking predisone for about a year due to PMR. However, I have a mild clotting disorder & my hematologist recommends that I avoid products that can act as blood thinners . Does adaptocrine have this side effect?
The Panax Ginseng Extract can act as a mile blood thinner. It is one of the ingredients in the Adaptocrine.

I just found out I have sky high cortisol. Meaning my total daily cortisol is 296. Its running in the 70's at night. This is why I can't sleep. I have been diagnosed with fibro/cfs. Which I am sure is a result of the adrenal fatigue from such high cortisol. I have order the Adaptocrine on my Dr.s advice. My concern is the herbs in it like ginseng that cause stimulation. I already have a problem sleeping at night. I don't do any caffeine or anything that has stimulants because it causes anxiety or my heart to race. Will this product cause any problems with that
It might. You might want to start with Adrenacalm, also by Apex but it is a transdermal and supports the adrenals without the herbal combination. You can use it twice day, both in the morning and before bed. You might also want to try the Gabacore which is excellent for sleep. Take two to three capsules before bed.

There is no expiration date on the bottle.. how long are they good for? Are there supposed to be dark spots in the pills? Black spots?
The date on the bottle is the manufacturing date. It is good two years out from that date. And yest there are many different variations in the capsule. You will find that to be true with all herbal supplements. They are made with natural substances that vary in color.

I am trying to do a protocol to recover from Hashimotos. I am also into menopause. I just received my saliva test results for adrenal/hormone function. My DHEA , testosterone, estrone and estuarial levels are elevated. I take 2 adaptocrine per day along with other supplements for each condition. Do you think this is affecting my hormone levels?
No I don't think that is the issue. Many people do not metabolize estrogen well. I might recommend adding DIM twice a day It will support the estrogen pathways and help eliminate hormone built up

This product has done wonders for my Lyme ravaged adrenals. My response to stress is much calmer now. However, I am having a surgical procedure tomorrow and even the Adaptocrine is not helping with the adrenal over reaction. I have been taking one in the am and one in the pm....should I take an additional capsule today?
You can take as many as two a day before breakfast and before lunch. I wouldn't take them much later than 2 in the afternoon as it can effect your sleep.
It may not produce the calming effect you are looking for. Surgery is one of those things that produces and immediate adrenal response that is hard to get around. It is part of our fright and flight response mechanism.
