is formulated to help increase the activity of the essential intracellular antioxidant glutathione. You are probably seeing references to glutathione pop up in your reading more and more. Glutathione is now recognized as essential to cellular detoxification. Glutathione levels in the body tend to decline rapidly with age leading to more chronic and serious threats to health. Glutathione Recycler provides compounds that aid in glutathione activity, provides agents that help support glutathione peroxidase and super oxide dismutase enzyme activity and helps support favorable reduced to oxidized glutathione ratios. If you are suffering from any chronic illness, you will want to include Glutathione Recycler in your supplement regimen for a few months to see if this will benefit you. Recommended usage: Take 1 capsule 3 times per day or as directed by a healthcare professional.

I felt highly agitated emotions when taking this product. What would that be caused by?
For many reasons I won't go into here, we are not carrying Apex products nor recommending them at OVitaminPro. Having said that Apex tends to use too many types of herbs in my opinion. We prefer other formulations like NAC (https://www.ovitaminpro.com/numnac120c.html) and ALA (https://www.ovitaminpro.com/pealphalipoicacid200120.html) or if want these in one formula NuMedica Liver Defend (https://www.ovitaminpro.com/numliverdefend60.html).
We also like NuMedica Liposomal Glutathione or EuroMedica Clinical Glutathione. Lots of great glutathione options that are better than Apex Glutathione Recycler in my opinion.

-Is this a product one can take indefinitely or should they stop intermittently?
-Does it matter what time of day you take it? Is before bed ok?
-Would you advise against taking it with Arctic Cod Liver oil?
I’ve been taking 2 capsules almost every night for about 2 years along w 6 liq gel caps of arctic cod liver oil... thoughts?
Thank you!! :)
All good questions but we don't really think you will get your best glutathione support with this product. We recommend NAC from NuMedica and Glutathione Patches from LifeWave. The timing of either of these products is not that critical.

I have read that glutathione is not digested or absorbed through the stomach and that sublingual is best. Is that true?
Since glutathione is an amino acid it is sometimes not absorbed well in the gut, especially if taken with protein. If you take it in capsule form it will work better on an empty stomach. The main ingredient to Glutathione Recycler is NAC which metabolizes into glutatione so you are not actually ingesting glutathione directly.

Can my 9 year old take a lower dose of this product. He has celiac disease and leaky gut. Diagnosed 3 years ago and immune system has much improved since going gluten free.
You can give him one a day without any issues. I would also recommend GlutenFlam, especially if everyone in your household is not gluten free. Eating out and eating in a home where gluten is not totally eliminated can continue to cause problems.

Is there a supplement which would help handle the intake of dairy which I avoid nearly all the time? A remedy like there are some for gluten intake? Thank you, Joanne
The best thing you can do besides avoidance of course is take a good digestive enzyme with each meal. I like EnzymeGenix by BetterGenix.
