RepairVite: Intestinal Lining Repair Support; Contains L-glutamine-the intestinal cell energy source; Complimentary herbs for more complete healing.
RepairVite is formulated to support the intestinal lining. Alternative practitioners have talked about leaky gut syndrome for at least 35 years. Traditional medical thinking was that the barrier was fairly inert meaning that these cells were firmly attached to each other and that large particles would never being able to enter the blood stream. Excellent research by Fasano et al that started with a cholera vaccine and ended with gluten sensitivity was the first to document leaky gut and discovered at least one mechanism. RepairVite consists of a L-glutamine (a primary energy source for the intestinal cells) along with several herbs that have a favorable mucosal healing properties. If you wonder if you have leaky gut syndrome, you probably do. For extra sensitive people, check out the SE version. Recommended usage: Mix 1 scoop with up to 8 ounces of water. Mix well before drinking. Use once a day, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

The ingredients in three of the four RepairVite products are extremely similar with very little differentiation. How does one know exactly which product to order for their symptoms?
The original formulas (K60 and K63) are similar with K63 adding a caramel flavor. These both have an herbal base with about 2500 mg per scoop of L-glutamine. The SE version (K98) has the herbs removed and is essentially an L-glutamine and digestive enzyme formula. The GT version is similar to the original formulas but has more L-glutamine.
So the simple answer is that if you are sensitive to some of these herbs, you will want the SE version. If you do well with L-glutamine and want extra support you will choose the GT formula. Otherwise you will just need to decide if you prefer the original or caramel flavored version.

He should be able to but I would recommend running it by his physician. Repairvite is used for gut health and repair. I recommend following the diet that goes with this. Keeping inflammation down is important for anyone fighting disease.

I started on this product along with a regime of other supplements due to Leaky Gut, SIBO, and Histamine Intolerance. I'm experiencing sensitivities to foods lately so my Dr. started me on this hoping to help boost the healing of my gut quicker. I was advised to take scoop 2x daily, however, taking it at night make me "hyper" - ( have insomnia issues) so decided to take it at breakfast & lunch. When I took it at breakfast, I became extremely bloated and stomach was uncomfortable for hours. Is there a better time to take this product so reduce hese symptoms?
I think you are pushing it too hard. Drop back down to 1/2 scoop a day for 2 weeks and then if things look better go up to a full scoop. I would not go over one scoop a day.

What is the shelf life of this product once opened?
Shelf life in general is two years from manufacture date. If it is stored in a cool dry place, it should be good for at least a year after opening up to that two year date, I would think.

I am ssensitive to MSG. It causes tachycardia and triggers my A-Fib. The body converts glutamine to glutamate. Is it safe for me to take this supplement?
MSG is not L-Glutamine. Chemically speaking, MSG is approximately 78 percent free glutamic acid, 21 percent sodium, and up to 1 percent contaminants.
L-glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in the bloodstream and it makes up 30-35% of the amino acid nitrogen in your blood. Amazingly, around 60% of your skeletal muscle is made up of glutamine and supplementing this amino acid can aid protein synthesis and help naturally balance your pH levels.
So no need to worry about your A-fib with this product.
