is a dietary supplement designed to support intestinal and digestive health. This formulation combines three strong lactobacillus strains which is a beneficial probiotic bacteria. Some of the benefits are structural and functional integrity of the epithelial lining, maintenance of intestinal probiotics balance, support for enzyme, organic acid, and vitamin production for healthy pH in the intestines. Lactobacillus is a beneficial alternative for those who do not experience the benefits of weaker lactobacillus strains like acidophilus.

Is Lactobacillus Salivarius safe for people with histamine intolerance? I've been taking strains specifically for breaking down histamine, which this product contains, but wasn't sure about this particular strain.
You are wading into the deep end of the pool with this question. Turns out the actual strain of the bacteria is important, not just the species as you have noted. I am going to refer you to a book that should be helpful in sorting this out. The Therapeutic Use of Probiotics For Histamine Intolerance. I suspect that there is a lot of individual responses to each type of bacteria.

does it have to be refrigerated>
Probiotics are fairly stable but it still best to refrigerate as much as possible. If you are traveling or it just isn't convenient to refrigerate, I wouldn't be overly concerned. All probiotics are manufactured months before they get to you and are rarely kept refrigerated along the entire supply route so if they were that volatile, none of them would have any value.

Hello. Does this product need to be refrigerated?
Most probiotics are fairly stable as they would have to be as the time between manufacture and arriving at your house is usually measured in months. That being said, it is best to refrigerate them as much as is possible to slow the natural degradation. We keep our own brand BetterGenix FloraGenix refrigerated in our storage area but it shipped without refrigeration but it is best if you refrigerate when you get it. If that just isn's possible or if you are traveling you should still get some benefit stored at room temperature.

Hi. Have you heard of this product being used to lower cholesterol? Is this the correct form of Lactobacillus for that?
I have not heard that probiotics can help with lowering cholesterol. I would recommend a product that contains Red Yeast Rice in it like Cholestgenix.
