I have hypothyroidism, low T3 & T4 and DHEA, I have noticed super hyper pigmentation on my skin which has been attributed to hormone levels, with the tyrosine help balance?
Low DHEA is typically an adrenal insufficiency problem and most hypothyroidism is generally Hashimoto’s and is an autoimmune inflammation response. For the DHEA you can supplement this directly but along with this you should prop up the adrenals with a general support product like AdrenalGenix by BetterGenix. As far as Hashimoto’s, we like to treat this with glutathione support (EuroMedica Clinical Glutathione), 5-10,000 IU’s D3 (Pure Encapsulations) a gluten free diet and maybe a thyroid support product like Sabre Sciences TriPlex Thyroid. Some tyrosine supplementation might be helpful but you will have to experiment to see what works best. If you get stumped, give us a call and we will see if we can help.
