Which is better to take, the capsules or the emulsion? I used to take Kavinace from my Fibro Doctor until the took the one ingredient out. Thanks FDA. Not. Anyway I was just looking
at the difference in price. I used to get the Kavinace and Kavinace PM. I'll await your response before I order.
We completely understand your frustration with the missing ingredient in Kavinace. We have one source of this phenibut left and that is in BetterPhen by BetterGenix. You can use your favorite Kavinace or other formula and add a BetterPhen or two to get that GABA boost. We kind of like having the option of making our own custom supplement combinations with things like Valerian (Karuna Sleep) or calming ingredients in Metagenics Serenagen. You can get this dialed in for what will work best for you.

What is the difference between Kavinace and Kavinace OS?
Despite both using the name Kaviance, they are different products. Kavinace is not longer available due to the inclusion of phenibut that the FDA has decided isn't a dietary supplement. It also had taurine and some B12. Kavinace OS contains Magnesium (as magnesium bisglycinate chelate) 25 mg, Zinc (as zinc bisglycinate chelate) 15 mg, Selenium (as selenomethionine) 200 mcg, Melatonin 5 mg, Proprietary Blend 214 mg: L-theanine, Resveratrol (as trans-resveratrol), and Astaxanthin. The OS version is formulated to help with sleep as was the original Kavinace but it is different so won't work exactly the same. You can still get the phenibut in BetterGenix BetterPhen. We take this in combination with things like Dee Cee Labs Formula 303, NuMedica melatonin, Metagenics Serenagen, for example. Sleep is a bit of a moving target so it is helpful to have different sleep formulas around to respond the body's changing needs.
