My question is do people have a bowl movement when using this product
Bowel movements can slow down because you are not eating any solid foods. You can use a little bit of magnesium at night to help move your bowels. I recommend taking 250-500 mg. before bed on an empty stomach.

Hi - I'm 165 pds and 6 ft. (lost a lot of weight was 195 year ago due to SIBO). How many bags of 35g powder would I use daily to get nutrition needs? thank you!
You need at least 1800 calories a day. Each scoop is 150 calories. That would be 12 servings a day. The large bag is good for three days. Call us for more complete directions on how to use. 877-465-0844

This has iron in it, and I am a carrier for hemachromatosis. Not getting phlebotamy except when blood tests ordered for other things. My iron numbers were higher than normal once a long time ago which is why doc ordered the iron and genetic tests. So I don't know how seriously to take the issue of Iron in this elemental diet.
Since you are only on the diet for three weeks you should be able to lower iron once off. You can also take IP-6 upon finishing which will assist with iron removal.

My Dr.asked me to look this up, though I can't have sugar so it would be the dextrose free. She said to ask if there's any way to get a sample size as I have mast cell
activation syndrome, cannot get enough nutrition and am allergic to so many things.
Can you help me with this?
I'm sorry we do not have samples. We do have a money back guarantee if a product doesn't work for you. Although shipping it back to us is your responsibility.

This may be coming up in my next protocol for SIBO. Would it make sense to add a fat, like coconut oil or other, due to tendencies toward low-blood sugar (as yeast is an issue, there will be natural antifungals added).
Thank you for your time.
This product is meant to sustain you and balance blood sugar. If you take the right amount you should be drinking 1800 calories a day throughout the day.If you add anything I would add MCT oil. Coconut oil on its own will not help fight the infection but once the medium chain triglycerides are broken down by enzymes from the pancreas they pack act as a antimicrobial agent. You really don't need any extra antifungals.

I'm taking thyroid medication twice a day with the Elemental Diet. Usually I plan to take it 2 hours after and 1 hour before food. Can I shorten that time with the Elemental Diet since I would imagine it's absorbed more quickly than food? It would make sipping the drink easier to schedule.
I think you can safely shorten those times especially the before food. You just need to give it a head start. You should careful notes about how you feel with any changes as your thyroid will often have ways of talking to you with various symptoms.

I've been taking this as prescribed by my Naturopath. I am almost out, and want to order more, but I see no options for adding it to my cart, and I am a signed-up user. Can you let me know how I can order it?
Not sure why it won't show up in your cart. You might try a different browser or clear the cookies in your current one and try again. Worst case, give us a call and we can take your info over the phone.
