Integrative Therapeutics Recancostat 100mg is a dietary supplement for antioxidant protection support. Every cell in our body can be subjected to oxidative damage from free radicals if it is not adequately protected. Therefore, protection against oxidative damage is one of the keys to maintaining cellular health and overall health. Recancostat supplies reduced glutathione (GSH), which is considered the keystone antioxidant, to protect cells against oxidative damage. To augment the cellular protection provided by GSH Recancostat also contains anthocyanins (AnthoRedoxin ) and L-cysteine. Together these ingredients provide powerful support for daily cellular maintenance by managing healthy cellular apoptosis, promoting cellular detoxification, and blocking free radical damage. Since cells are the basic building blocks of all our systems protecting them is the cornerstone to good health, and at OVitaminPro we are confident that the formula in Recancostat provides the cellular support that you need.

Should people with autoimmune disease take this product? I have essential tremor that started about three months ago, and I know I have mercury toxicity. I had nine mercury dental fillings removed. I read that some people should not take glutamine. Is the body supposed to take the Recancostat out of the body as it detoxes?
The immune system is highly regulated by vitamin D and glutathione. I don’t see why Recancostat would be a problem due to autoimmune problems.
Considering autoimmune problems and essential tremor symptoms, I would hit the glutathione pretty hard, that is LifeWave Glutathione Patches, EuroMedica Clinical Glutathione and then other supportive supplements like the Recancostat. Also make sure you are getting enough D. We like to see lab levels of about 80. Many people we test come out at 30 or even lower. We routinely recommend 5000 to 10,000 IU’s of D daily. Diet is also important with gluten being a prime suspect in predisposing a person to neurological problems. If other metals are a problem, you should also look at IP6. I should also mention dopamine support as that might be compromised. This is just a very brief summary. It is vital that you get involuntary movements quieted down as soon as possible as these problems don't spontaneously resolve. Let us know how else we might help.
