Thorne Ultimate-E supports cardiovascular health. Contains a mixture of all tocopherols and utilizes molecular distillation to remove allergenic soy residues and mixed tocopherols provide vital antioxidant activity in fat-soluble tissues. Tocopherols provide protection from free radicals and other by-products of oxygenation, including lipid peroxides and singlet oxygen radicals. Gamma-tocopherol inhibits the enzyme cyclooxygenase, whereas alpha-tocopherol does not appear to have a significant effect on this enzyme.
Recommended use: Take 1 gelcap, 1 to 3 times daily or as directed by a healthcare professional.
