Thorne Vet Probiotic Support Formula (Formerly Bacillus CoagulansVet) supports a healthy gut microbiome by producing lactic acid. This is a very stable probitoic bacterial species and no refrigeration is needed. A strong enough formula that it can survive stomach acid, while retaining its potency to deliver organisms to the intestines for optimal acidic balance in the gut.
