Hi. I'm wondering if you have any recommendations on this cream, and/or other herbs that I could use. I was diagnosed with Crohn's disease 2 1/2 years ago. I am vegan, gluten free, and have had the cyrex lab tests, and avoid the foods I reacted against ( other than minute amounts of stuff in the 'maybe' category). I am on Pentasa, and a lot of supplements. I use the Apex repairvite daily. Yet, even with all of these precautions, I am in almost daily, severe pain. My side aches, but most troubling is the pain I have after I go to the bathroom. I have 4 fistulas that swell, bleed, leak fluid, and hurt. The cause a lot of pressure and I have hemmoroids that contribute to the pain (maybe cause it). I've heard good things about circummin (for pain and anti-inflammatory), but have been afraid to try it, as my stomach can be sensitive sometimes. Do you have any recommendations for healing techniques, and or supplements to heal and deal with pain? I appreciate your advice! Thank you!
You are certainly making a heroic effort to feel better. We applaud your dedication. The Proctosan Cream may be helpful for the local swelling and hemorrhoids.
Curcumin is certainly worth a try. Our favorite at the present is EuroMedica CuraPro. We haven't had any reports of negative reactions to this and use it ourselves. If you prefer a liquid, Apex Turmero is a good option. You can start with a small dose and work up. We generally prefer the CuraPro because it is very effective and way more convenient.
BetterGenix DigestGenix is a mild intestinal support formula. We have good results with this as well.
We have been using Apex for a couple of decades and like them a lot. The only problem with some Apex products for a small percentage of people is certain combination of herbs can be too much of a good thing if you are extra sensitive for whatever reason. Sometimes we have to switch people to simpler formulations to get the results.
