EuroMedica Clinical Glutathione is a dietary supplement for antioxidant support. The body's cells and tissues are at constant risk of damage by harmful free radicals that have the capability of disrupting cell structure and metabolic activity. Naturally occurring, glutathione is a tripeptide of L-cysteine, L-glutamate and L-glycine and is an essential co-substrate for 2 major antioxidant enzymes in the body, glutathione reductase and glutathione peroxidase. Glutathione is a free radical scavenger, absorbed well in the intestine, and enters blood and other extracellular areas to provide its beneficial antioxidant effects. Clinical Glutathione is provided in slow melt tablets.
