Product Information

Biotics Research Liquid Iodine is an essential trace mineral crucial for optimal thyroid function and metabolic health. This bioavailable liquid formula supports iodine levels that may be depleted through diet alone. Iodine is concentrated by the thyroid gland and other tissues to maintain hormonal balance and energy production. Particularly beneficial for vegetarians and those with limited dietary iodine intake, this supplement helps prevent deficiency-related thyroid dysfunction. Each 2 fl oz bottle delivers convenient, easily absorbed iodine to support your body's natural wellness needs.

Hello Doctor Dan,
After 1 & 1/2 years of treatment of a cut the size of a quarter on my big toe at a Barbaric and Wound clinic, my former doctor gave up on healing me, and sent me back to my primary care (Internist) for other options. Upon leaving the clinic, I was given a patch the size of a large gauze pad, with Iodine based product inside. Using a small piece every other day, I had good results, and was told to use IODINE liquid after I ran out of the patch compound. I cannot find over 10% in all drug stores. I was told to not use less than 50-45% pure liquid, then soak a gauze and leave on until showering every other day.
MY PROBLEM: Again, there are nowhere near even 25%, with one mostly alcohol based product with 1 or 2% mostly, and one 10% super large 10 oz. bottle.
Is this product safe for consumption? I heard a drop twice daily is good for thyroid problems, and mine needs medication since 2000, after a failed surgery damaged another area making the thyroid work harder to keep it in tact at the right pace. The patch soaked in iodine brought down the size and depth by more than half in a matter of 4-5 months, with dry air used, switching on 2-day intervals. The depth now is about 10% of what it was when the doctor dug out everything every other week. He actually made it deeper doing that. My dry air theory, along with the patch worked wonders, but it is not permissible with my insurance company for a cost factor, apparently. Any other suggestions, along with an order will fix this problem for once and for all. THANKS!
