Douglas Laboratories Pylori-Plex is a dietary supplement for gastrointestinal health support. H. pylori has the ability to withstand the acidic stomach and survives in the mucosal lining of the gastrointestinal tract. When the body's immune system responds, the bacteria causes inflammation and gradual erosion of the lining. Studies have shown that mastic gum may have the ability to kill the H. pylori bacteria and licorice has historical use as a support for gastrointestinal health, commonly used as a demulcent to soothe and coat the stomach and throat. The herbs slippery elm and marshmallow have traditional gastrointestinal supportive uses.
Recommended use: Take 2 vegetarian capsules daily with meals, or as directed by a healthcare professional.

In reading the recommended usage, does one interpret this to mean the dosage is two pills per meal or two per day? The use of the plural ‘meals’ makes me question this.

Hi Dr Dan,
I have a hiatal hernia and am constantly nauseous. I did have h pylori years ago and was given a prescription called HP Pac to take for 28 days. I had a urea breath test done and results came back unclear. Very puzzling. Anyways, I'm taking a digestive enzyme by Pure Encapsulations and DGL Licorice root and I'm drinking lots of warm water with ginger. All have helped somewhat. My question is can Pylori-Plex help with nausea and the hernia and whatever else is going on in my stomach? Thanks in advance.
