Product Information

Now Flax Seed Oil organic supports cardiovascular health and to promote the maintenance of healthy skin. Flax Oil form organic flax seeds deliver the natural nutrient profile found in whole foods and is non-GMO, cold-pressed, and unrefined. Flax oil abounds in omega-3 fatty acids, principally alpha-linolenic acid. Our oil is tested to have between 55-65% of this valuable fatty acid. The organically grown flax seeds are processed initially by screening for weeds, stalk, etc. Then the oil is extracted by cold expeller pressing/crushing. Filtration is the next process, and after filtration, to preserve the natural nutrient profile found in flax and to prevent rancidity, a minute amount of an antioxidant blend is added to the oil. The processing method assures an oil of high quality with a characteristic nutty taste and odor, and a transparent, medium-yellow color.
Recommended use: Take 3 softgels 1 to 2 times daily with food, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Store in a cool, dry place after opening.
