Professional Formulas Shed Aid (Vet Line) offers homeopathic support for excessive or unexplained shedding by dogs and cats.
Recommended Use: Place drops under tongue 30 minutes before/after meals. Take 10 to 15 drops up to 3 times per day. For immediate onset of symptoms, take 10 drops every 15 minutes up to 3 hours, then reduce to hourly for up to 8 hours. To prevent future symptoms, take 10 to 15 drops once weekly. Doses may be used orally, taken in water, or rubbed in vascular areas.

Professional complementary suggests the following:

Acute: Orally with dropper/spray/wormer 10 drops every 15minutes (not exceeding 3hrs)
Subacute: When symptoms do improve, reduce dosing frequency to every hour ( not to exceed 8hrs).
Chronic: 10 drops every 3 or 4 hours.
Prevention: add 1 teaspoon to animals water daily.

The drops can also be administered by rubbing into vascular area or to the the drinking water.
