I sleep fairly well at night and get 6-9 hours each night. I have sleep apnea and sleep with a CPAP machine. With enough restful sleep I am still so sleepy all day with out much energy. If I sit down to do anything I am overcome with the need to sleep. Do you think this supplement would help me or is there something else you can suggest?
1 Answer
Sounds to me like you are having general energy problems. Sleep is certainly one important factor but there are about 30 others that need to be looked at. A good place to start is the following link: https://www.apoe4.info/wiki/Bredesen_Protocol
This site goes through the common factors affecting brain health. We can walk you through this if you this is too confusing.

will serene make me sleepy if I take it during the day. I take 2 Kavinace at night. My sleep is better but still wake up all night long. able to get back to sleep but very groggy in the morning. should I take 3 kavinace or combine with this product. I tried the Kavinace PM one time but I thought it made me jittery an d so didn't sleep and felt awful the next day. does that have an ingredient that would make some jittery?
1 Answer
Yes you can take Serene during the day. It should not make you sleepy. I might recommend taking 2 Serene a half hour before dinner and taking 3 Kavinace 30 minutes before bed. This seems to be a good combination.
I have had other clients become jittery with the Kavinace PM. It could be the added extra melatonin. Some people do not react well to it.

Can this be taken if I'm on cymbalta 60 mg
1 Answer
There are no contraindications with taking Serene with Cymbalta. I have many clients who have taken both and eventually cut back or even eliminated the medication on their own.
