Enterolab is a pioneer in detecting gluten sensitivity both with antibody and genetic testing. Their preferred method is the stool test. This can be valuable but we generally recommend Profile 11 for basic genetic testing and blood testing from Cyrex. Genetic tests tells us your predisposition to gluten problems and the antibody testing tells us what actually happened. If possible, we do like to get both tests. The genetic test used by Enterolab will pick up celiac and "silent" gluten sensitivity genes. This is the place to start to check your gluten sensitivity status. For blood testing, we are recommending Cyrex Labs. Look for the Cyrex information in the Gluten Resources section. If you have problems downloading this form, give us a call and we will fill it out and fax it to Enterolab for you.
