EnzymeGenix is formulated to support healthy digestion. Researchers tell us that about 60-70% of our immune system response is related to the gut. Taking steps to improve digestion will take some of the stress off that immune response. If you have any chronic condition or are over 40, it is time to consider adding digestive enzymes into your routine. EnzymeGenix is abroad spectrum supplement containing 10 digestive enzymes and places special emphasis on Proteolytic (protein digesting) enzymes. The enteric coating used in EnzymeGenix releases the proper enzymes at the correct digestive intervals for maximum activity. Also included is protomorphogen pancreas tissue to help further stimulate natural digestion processes. Recommended dose is 1-2 tablets with meals or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Currently I am taking your Numedica Digestive Enzyme with
*- Protease (175,000)
- Amylase (175,000)
- Lipase (14,000)
I was thinking about trying this EnzymeGenix 90c. However, it says:
- Pancreatin (8x) 50 mg *
- Yielding: Protease (200 USP/mg)
- Amylase (200 USP/mg)
- Lipase (16 USP/mg)
I am not familiar with the 200 USP/mg on the EnxymeGenix product. How does that differ from the NuMedica Enzyme with 175,000?
Thanks,

If I am reading this right, the NuMedica Pan-GL has more protease, lipase and amylase. EnzymeGenix (the formula we currently use at home) is a more general formula. It has 200 USP per mg x 50 mg of pancreatin per cap = 10,000 USP total of that enzyme. So these are similar but different products with different goals. If you know you need the protease, lipase and amylase specifically, the NuMedica formula is for you. If you want something more general, the BetterGenix product should do the trick.

Which of these two products EnzymeGenix & Pure Digestive Enzymes Ultra, has the most amount of Protease, Amylase & Lipase per one capsule?
I noticed that the measurements are different, USP/mg vs HUT DU FIP.

Don't you just love the lack of unit standardization?
These products are similar in that regard. I calculate 9230 USP for the Pure Encaps and 10,000 USP for the BetterGenix version. We have personally been using the Bettergenix formula for many years but Pure Encaps is a very trusted brand so I don't think you can make a bad choice here.

Focus on protein digestion, but what if salads and greens are major food choices? (Colon inflammation history)

There is protein in so many foods even vegetables. Plus digestive enzymes help in the digestion of all foods. When digestion is hindered it effects the health of the gut.
