Integrative Therapeutics Cortisol Manager is a dietary supplement for healthy cortisol level support. Cortisol Manager is formulated to help support normal cortisol levels. In response to stress, the body increases levels of cortisol. For a short time this is very helpful but over time, increased cortisol interrupts basic health patterns. Cortisol, often referred to as the “stress hormone,” is produced by the adrenal cortex in response to signals from the hypothalamus and pituitary gland, as part of the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis. Upon exposure to acute stressors, cortisol secretion can generally help maintain homeostasis in the body. Because of its central role as a “first responder” and its capability to modulate multiple critical physiological functions, cortisol is often seen as the bridge between stress and its health consequences. Variations of cortisol secretion can be an indicator of how well a body is coping with stress. Cortisol production is generally at its peak in the early hours of the morning and then gradually declines over the course of the day. Cortisol Manager works to support relaxation, reduce fatigue, and maintain healthy levels of cortisol in the body.
Recommended usage: Take 1 tablet before bedtime, or as recommended by your healthcare professional. Increase to 2 tablets during times of high stress. Safe for use every night.

Does cortisol increase the fat stored around the middle and does it effect the thyroid glad?
Cortisol is made in the adrenal gland. When we are under the adrenal stress cortisol can be affected.
It can be either high or low depending on how long the adrenals have been under stress. And yes it can influence our body fat.
Sometimes tummy fat can be related to adrenals and cortisol.
