Thorne B.P.P. (Betaine/Pepsin/Pancreatin) supports the digestive system and the digestion of fats, carbohydrates, and proteins as well as nutrient malabsorption. Provides the hydrochloric acid and pancreatic enzymes whose insufficient secreteion by the body can result in indigestion. You may suffer from digestive problems if you're ill or have recently recovered from an illness take antacids regularly or simply due to the aging process. Poor digestion caused by a shortage of enzymes can cause symptoms like an upset stomach, diarrhea, gas or heartburn. The overuse of antacids can reduce the amount of hydrochloric acid in your stomach inhibiting your body's ability to digest foods properly. This can interfere with your body's ability to properly absorb nutrients which can lead to vitamin or mineral deficiencies.
Recommended use: is 1-2 capsules with each meal or as directed by a healthcare professional.

Equivalent to 16 grains. Betaine Hydrochloride derived from a non-plant source. This product is not diluted with lactose. Individuals with porcine allergies should not take this product. Do not take this product out of the capsule. This product is contraindicated in patients with peptic ulcers.
