Thorne Phytoprofen supports healthy cytokine balance, reduces swelling and bruising, and healing after injury or surgery. Phytoprofen can minimize post-operative or post-injury bruising and swelling, in addition to helping prevent connective tissue breakdown. Contains a blend of Ayurvedic herbs ginger, Boswellia, and curcumin which together support a healthy cytokine balance in the body. Phytoprofen also contains bromelain, a protein-digesting enzyme complex derived from pineapple that studies have shown will reduce bruising after injury. Supplementation with bromelain following a blunt injury to the musculoskeletal system can reduce swelling and tenderness.
Recommended use: Take 2 capsules, 2-3 times daily or as recommended by a healthcare professional.
